Synopis of Ravincroft's Retribution
A bitter rivalry between two brothers, Ren and Theo Ravincroft, are unknowingly drawn into an age-old prophecy, sparks a journey into an unspoiled realm where the destruction of two natural worlds is imminent.
Theo, the power-hungry younger brother vying to take over his father’s farm, unearths a powerful crystal, which inadvertently opens a void in time, allowing Skarabost, a vengeful entity, to escape into both the brother's modern world and a medieval unspoiled world, activating a prophecy. Susano, an ancient deity and guardian of natural biospheres, imprisoned this usurper between realms decades ago.
Resentful that their father wants his older brother Ren at the helm of the company, Theo agrees to Skarabost’s demands, with the assurance of claiming his father's business.
Ren, concerned about animals, is plagued with recurring visions of creatures being pursued by something malevolent. Simultaneously, media reports of strange behaviour among peaceful wildlife are occurring. He discloses his concerns to three friends, hoping they can help find an explanation.
Susano, Skarabost's target of revenge, calls forth Ren and his friends as mortal advocates and sends them back into his realm to undertake a risky journey. Together, they are to retrieve four powerful relics in the form of masks that keep the natural worlds in balance. Skarabost needs to regain physical form and carry out his revenge.
Ren and his companions are all that stand between Skarabost seizing them first. With help from Susano, the group manifests certain abilities, and each individual of Ren's companions are required to retrieve a specific mask.
Ren’s contempt for his brother consumes him at first, but finding himself and his friends cheating death or serious injury, he eventually discovers they’re all pawns to fulfil the prophecy. Using the masks, a ritual is necessary to restore balance to both worlds, prevent the entity from gaining physical form, and return him to his prison between worlds.
